Girls age 13-16 are invited to 4 days of yoga, adventure, and personal growth. You will gain self-awareness, make connections with other teens, and lay the groundwork for an amazing summer.

Jamie Blackburn, MA, E-RYT, has worn many hats in her life: oyster shucker, science teacher, outdoor educator, English teacher in Cambodia, school counselor, and ice cream scooper. But the job she loves most is what she does now... helping people find more JOY in their life and feel less stress and anxiety. She started the Inner MAP Project in 2018 after she noticed how mindfulness, physical activity, and self-reflection practices were helping her students cope with anxiety and depression. She realized that this was her passion, and wanted to make these practices more accessible to more people. The Inner MAP Project is her creative outlet for helping others be the best version of themselves, one breath at a time. Jamie has a Master's degree in School Counseling, a Master's degree in Secondary Education and is 500-RYT certified with Yoga Alliance. She has been working with teens since 2005 and teaching yoga since 2006.
Katherine Keen brings extensive experience from her career as a School Counselor and Psychologist to her work with teen girls and their parents. Now a Certified Teen Life Coach, she owns Wide Awake Teens and helps girls all over the Denver metro area build confidence in themselves. Kath knows it’s not easy being a tween or teen these days and believes that the journey is better when you have positive relationships with other girls and most importantly with yourself! Kath encourages teen girls to live fulfilling and adventurous lives, with tools and resources to help guide them. When she’s not hanging out with teens, she is off on her own adventures – a new walk in the city, traveling around the world or searching for a lake to take a plunge in! Kath's presentation will give the girls a confidence boost, introduce them to a bit of yoga, and help them learn techniques to simply be kind to themselves.
